The Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) is the unified standard established by the Department of Defense (DoD) to ensure the protection of sensitive unclassified information, specifically Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), shared with its contractors and subcontractors. Achieving Level 2 certification validates that IBR has implemented a comprehensive set of cybersecurity requirements and security controls, demonstrating a commitment to safeguarding this critical information. This level aligns with the security requirements of NIST SP 800-171 and signifies that IBR has the requisite processes in place to protect CUI.
